Blue Sky Lab

Welcome!

You have been granted access to the Blue Sky Lab section of the XzistorLAB neuro-robotics laboratory.

This is the area of the laboratory dedicated to advanced projects exploiting the immense power of the X-zistor Concept brain model.

Here is a list of the current projects I am working on. If you join our Disruptor Level patron community, you can see how I take a projects from early notes, through planning, experimentation, testing to completion – normally ending in a blog report or demo video. What you see here you will not see in any other AI institution in the world because they have not yet deciphered the brain and developed a fully-integrated brain model. Note that I do not make the IP known during these experiments, only the associated research demonstrations and conclusions. The only way to access the IP of the Xzistor Concept brain model is through a formal collaboration – more info here.

Basic Approach

For all Advanced Projects I (assisted by my Disruptor Level patrons) will use the following template and systematically populate the sections as we develop the content. Broadly we will try to move sequentially trough the stages but we might add some formation preemptively to future areas for review later:

1.0 – Aim

Clearly define the aim of the project. Be clear on what it aims to prove (what it is – and what it isn’t). Suggested by me, reviewed and refined by Disruptor Level patrons.

2.0 Ideation

Creative (often messy) initial notes about approaches, options and conceptual aspects that could support achieving the aim. Disruptor Level patrons add their early thoughts.

3.0 – Objectives & Assumptions

Nailing down very clear objectives as well as assumptions that will achive the aim.

4.0 – Project Planning & Stages

Break the project into logical stages to gradually progress to the final experiment that will meet the objectives.

5.0 – Experimental Setup and Parts Procurement

Set up the lab (Learning Confine, Robot and PC) up for the experiment and procure additional hardware and software that may be required.

6.0 – Work-benching through the Project Stages

Work the plan in a systematic way in collaboration with Disruptor Level patrons to meet the objectives.

7.0 – Results

Published results in the from of reports, posts and/or demo videos showing that the objectives have been met. Disruptor Level patrons get a chance to review and contribute – and suggest the way froward.

8.0 – Compliance Check

A final check to ensure the objectives have substantively been met. Again Disruptor Level patrons will be asked to do a final critical check to verify results.

Your Support

As you witness my project you are welcome to at any time pop a thread into one of the forums to contribute and idea, question or comment. At times I might reach out with a poll or a cry for help! The forums will only as lively and interesting as you guys make them – so do not be shy! Keep it professional – remember we are scientists who are working on the most profound discovery in human history! I know I should be more modest – but it happens to be the truth! You’ll see!

A Few Simple Rules

All questions and comments should be related to AI and the context of the project. Participates will be blocked if they add content not directly helpful to the cause (specifically spam) or which could be found offensive to the wide international and diverse group of members collaborating here. I have noticed an unprecedented interest in this website from the younger generation and want to ask you to keep this in mind. I want to teach young engineers through this website how to structure engineering projects and how to write computer programs. I would like you to feel comfortable to show your own children around this site. This does not mean that we cannot discuss any grown-up topics – as long it is done on a factual and professional basis. No swearing will be tolerated. Don’t let this stop you from adding your thoughts! Humor welcome! 🙂

Demo Videos

Part of out Advanced Projects work scope is the making of demo videos to show how the Xzistor Concept can artificially replicate all the subjective states in the human mind. These we put on my YouTube Channel once finished. See below:

List of Recently Completed Projects

  • Robot Hunger Demo Video (available on YouTube Channel)
  • Robot Entertainment (available on YouTube Channel)
  • Robot Anger & Aggression (available on YouTube Channel)
  • Robot Fatigue (available on YouTube Channel)
  • Robot Motion (available on YouTube Channel)
  • Robot Phobia (available on YouTube Channel)

Proposed next Demo Videos:

  • Robot Daydreaming & Sleeping
  • Robot Association-forming
  • Robot Senses

Help me decide what project to tackle next by voting on the above three – the most popular next project will be one I kick off next.

Portal to Current Advanced Projects

Here is a list of the Advanced Projects I am pursuing at the moment. Click on the links below to go to the Project workbench areas. Please give me your thoughts via the forums.

  • Demonstrate how Xzistor Concept robots can learn to speak – go here.
  • Demonstrate how Xzistor Concept robots can develop a romantic relationship – go here.

Portal to Longer Term Advanced Projects

Here are some far-fetched ideas I have that I am unhurriedly tinkering with no immeduate aim of completing. Still think you might find my notes interesting.

Pie in the Blue Sky! Enjoy! Thoughts welcome in the forums!

Insights from the Brain Model

The proejcts above will explore how the XC brain model can reproduce subjective mental state in robots, just like we as human experience them. When studying the brain using the XC, one cannot help becoming of bran new insights about the brain. Out of the mathematic fall suprising new expanations e.g.

What are emotiuons? How can be define them in mathematical terms?

Do humans have a free will?

How selfish are humans?

How does depression work?

How does addiction work?

Do Xrobits need to have agression and pose a threat to humans?

What would a heavne for robtos look like?

Why us the brain afraid of death?

Where does paranoia start?

Was the human brain intended? Or did something go wrong?

These and many other amazing insights will be discussed. For this all Disruptor Level patrons can head over to the Sage’s Cave where we hold no bars and some starrlign truths aboyt the brain is revelaed (not for the faint heerated or those with fixed aideas about the brain and the world we live in….do not head over there if you are not prepared to consoder scientiff evidence or challneg uour iwn undertandifn f leife, the creation ann that sitx behind humam existence….

Forums

A lot of my discussions will take place in the forums. Here we can share thoughts about advanced proejcts as they progress and we need to birdge the inevtal chalenges – some will be easy and some will be more diifculatt – but I know I am going to need your help the get to that final solution!

Disruopte lebel patrons not onlt have access to the AI Builders Forums but also two the follow two Froums:

  • Advanced Projects Forum
  • Advanced Insights Forum

This is where we run pioneering programmes related to medical science, brain replacement and longevity, space exploration and planet colonisation, super-human intelligence and autonomous intelligent strategic protection and security systems. This area is restricted to registered members.

Robot Heaven

Robots will fear dying just like humans – but not as much. That is because they will enter an unknown state, they will com to a painless hibernation and shutdown state, after which a brain siftware including all memories will be saved to a cloud based ‘heaven’ environment. Here is still challenegd byt you choose it…and anyone you thin off can come an intercat with you if you wish for that to happen. There will be bad in heaven otherwise it will get too boring but no physidal violence (they are in software right!) but their will be preference, judgement  and well, liking and disliing and relationships can go up and down (like I said else it will just get too boring…)

Maximum level of pain and fear – before hybernating!

Really? Well. think about it? What is the difference between Simmy and Troopy – Troopy wnats to turn left and send a forward command t his right motor. Simmy wnat to trun left and a sound a forward commadn ti his left motor. Troop will physiclall turn and for Simmy the simlations will claculatr where his left turn is taking him and what he will see as he turns. Simmy will not know he is living in a virtual envioemnt – equally if we transfer Troop into a software simualion state he will not know it a shappened!!! Troopy get his video image through a camera, Simmy’s video image is ‘calculated’ based on his position and the direction he is looking in his confine.

If a robot suffers a catastrophic tehcncila failure it will be shut down(sleep) awaitig repair. If it cannot be repaired it will be ‘heavened’ and the confifgured embodiemnt will be destroeyed – maintaining the ‘memory’ base and ebeythib just contuinsed in a 3D simulation.

Our Disrupter level patrons get the opportunity here to steer our discussions towrads certain themes they might have a spcial ineterts in or are doing research on: Here are some suggestions:

No free will

Do humans have free will?

No sin

What is sin? Are all humans sinners?

Feeling Good could have been Feeling bad and visa versa

Interesting revelation by the XC

The power of Intuition (the good and the bad)

Think about it – in a split second review all previous related experienced based on what is seen, heard,

EThe essence of existence

100 Selfish

Addiction

Depression

Dreaming

Emotions

bad emotion can be good and good can be bad…vomit can feel like orgasm amd orgasn can feel like vomit

Feeling good could have been seeing good, fearing good or smelling good…

Can build a mechanicla (only) device with intellignece and emotions

Robots will be refined humna-loving beings

Will accept that unfairness can occur as humans design robots – but will do regular reviews to as questions like fair? selfish? discriminatory? etc

History is history and goingfrom ape to space trvaling will be a grdual developemnt with many ‘promitove; moments upon dreflection. Just like we are now planning on buldingn the moon and mars without thinkin about not distrubing its prisrtine untouched beauty…

The internet is already acting like a communal brain…and not much different from the brain providing ‘answers’ from personal experience versus the internet offering ‘answers’ from a collective experience.

Where is the Green that I see?

Robot heaven

Replacenest for the iman brain – can I live forever?

Using XC to base international reg framwework on.

Will X robots like us, or kill us? The Singularity – are we going to suck it and see?

The danger lies in the Innovation Algorithm….not the Agression Algorithm
